EXCELLENT Based on 26 reviews Raghunandan Dudda Subramanya2024-05-03Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I enrolled my 7th grade daughter in YARD Sciences just 5 months ago and I am excited to see her progress in learning science much above her school level and making accomplishments so quick. Dr. Ramu and Dr. Rastogi teams have been outstanding in their teaching for every student. I have witnessed my middle schooler learn to grow bacterial cultures independently and handle autoclave, spectrophotometer etc which are not taught at that level of regular middle school. She advanced quickly under their guidance and she prepared her project with enthusiasm. Within 3 months she prepared > 120 culture plates for 4 different gut bacteria and came out with excellent results. This has already stimulated her interest in DNA and molecular biology. Dr. Ramu has amazing dedication and patience to provide individual attention to every student and every project as well as poster. While reviewing all the posters presented at local and regional Science Fairs, the ones from YARD Sciences stand out clearly! My 7th grader was able to win prizes at local and tristate regional Science Fairs with several special awards due to YARD Sciences. Now she is preparing for national level fair. Even my 8 year old has developed interest in medical science from their lab. He was able to extract DNA of strawberries and banana, and perform experiments that can be reproduced with simple home equipment. Our sincere thanks and appreciation. We will be continuing to enroll our children in YARD Science activities and will look forward to seeing them grow their scientific temperament and achieve many more accomplishments. Our journey with Yard Sciences and Dr Ramu has been extremely enlightening and fulfilling and this has been a fabulous learning experience for our children. My daughter did the middle school biology and HS molecular biology course with Dr Ramu and that experience rekindled her interest in science and introduced her to research this early in her student life. She enjoyed participating in the science fair and felt really accomplished having completed a high-level science project from formulating the research question to learning laboratory techniques, conducting experiments, analyzing the data and putting more thoughts into future directions. Under Dr. Ramu's guidance and mentorship I've seen our daughter grow as a keen observer asking the right questions, doing background research tirelessly and understanding the basic science concepts. I have personally observed Dr. Ramu being so patient with all the students in the program and tailors his explanation to the student’s level of understanding, always moving them forward, towards their own journey of learning science. My daughter has learnt to appreciate all the tremendous efforts, time and patience that go into learning all the skills and being organized and will definitely help her in all aspects of student life, not just science. I would definitely recommend Dr. Ramu as a mentor for anybody else's kids in a heartbeat. Dicksey Mathew2024-05-02Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. My daughter started at Yard Sciences around 7 months back. Within a short period of time, she learned the fundamentals of Molecular Biology, came up with an independent research idea, conducted hands-on experiment, presented at the County Science and Engineering Fair and secured first place in her category. None of this would have been a remote possibility without the guidance and mentorship of Dr.Ramu and the amazing support from Tracey. Yard Sciences has had a phenomenal impact on my daughter and her interest in clinical research. Ananya Relia2024-05-01Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Fantastic science lab program! The experiments were engaging, and the instructors were knowledgeable and helpful. The curriculum was well-designed, catering to various age groups, and the hands-on experiments were both educational and fun. The facility was well-equipped, and the staff was friendly and ensured a safe environment. Looking forward to enrolling again next year! Dr Ramu is an extraordinary mentor and guide, who provides middle and high schoolers space to think out of the box, labs to conduct experiments, environment to question fundamentals of science. Highly recommend to science enthusiasts! Rupal Bhavsar2024-04-23Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Our journey through Yard Sciences over last 2 years have been extraordinary. My son joined Yard Sciences 2 years ago and we had no idea what to expect. During his 1st year he learned many lab techniques, picked a project and through Dr. Ramu's mentorship and Tracy's invaluable support, he finished top in Coriell Science Fair. That curiosity and drive also carried through 2nd year with more challenging project. He was rewarded by becoming ISEF Finalist this year. Yard Science is a place to for curious minded and hard working kids. There is so much to learn and Dr. Ramu is a great instructor. Kids learn how to carry experiments interdependently, analyze the results, create a poster and present data at such a young age. I highly recommend Yard Sciences to the entire community. Punam patel2024-04-06Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Our experience with Yard Science was nothing short of exceptional! As a parent, I'm always on the lookout for opportunities to nurture my child's interest in science, and this lab truly delivered. My son, is in 8th grade, he was working on his science fair project and needed some expert guidance and resources. From the moment we stepped in, the staff made us feel welcomed and valued. The lab environment was not only well-equipped but also conducive to learning and experimenting. The staff, particularly the science mentor Dr. Ramu, went above and beyond to assist my son. What impressed me the most was how Dr. Ramu encouraged my son to think critically and creatively. It was amazing to see how his confidence grew as he tackled various challenges with their support. Thanks to Yard Science, my son not only completed his science fair project successfully but also developed a deeper appreciation for the wonders of science. I highly recommend Yard Science to parents looking to enrich their children's scientific journey. Whether it's for a school project or simply fostering a love for science, this lab is the perfect place to nurture young minds. Thank you once again Dr. Ramu, Dr. Rastogi and Ms. Tracy for your invaluable support and dedication. We'll definitely be back for more scientific adventures! Darsh Gajera2024-03-02Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Yard Sciences is a great place to come and learn new things, throughout the Science Fair you get to be creative and learn how to be independent, you can become very skilled in techniques used in a lab environment. The experience you get from being able to try your own experiments and be curious knowing that the experiments you are doing could actually make a difference, and the fact that it is something new being discovered excites me. Learning how to do many things in the lab and the process that you have to go through to learn these thing is thorough and teaches you to work hard. The experiments you do depend on you because you are doing the experiments, it is the most hands-on class I have ever taken and I know it will be extremely beneficial for my future. Lauren Perry2023-04-25Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Had a fun and interesting office outing today at Yard Sciences! In recognition of National DNA Day we extracted DNA from various fruits. In this pic you see DNA extracted from a banana. What a unique treat it was to take a break during the work day to experience lab science. I highly recommend this place for office outings and if you have school aged children, you should check out their programming. Their participants have had a lot of success at regional and national science fairs. And their classes are a great way to either get kids interested in science or for those who already are, to help them figure out what sort of profession in science they would like to pursue. Chhavi Kaushik2023-04-12Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Yard sciences is an excellent opportunity for kids to foster interest in Science and learn very crucial skillset with scientific experiments, lab work, presentation skills and statistics. The entire team is very passionate, dedicated and made it a very fulfilling wholesome fun loving experience for our child. Dr Ramu and Tracy Arbuzzo deserve a special mention and applaud !
